Thank you for visiting J.Gold Creative, a portfolio of Jessica Goldsmith’s work in graphic design, photography, illustration, and more.
Jessica is one of those rarities- someone who was both born in Washington, DC and still lives there today. After graduating from UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County) in 2007 with a BA in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History, she came back home to DC seeking work and a fresh perspective on a familiar town.
As a designer primarily, Jessica has created materials for all sorts of acronyms (such as ASBMB, USCIS, CBP, TBG, CDC, FAA, UMD, UMBC) as well as several musicians and other businesses. She is most passionate about print design, typography, photography, and handwriting as an art form.
When not pursuing her artistic endeavors, Jessica can be found exploring DC on foot, planning her next trip, playing music, and cheering for the Washington Capitals. One of her favorite quotes comes from the great Andy Warhol: “Art is what you can get away with.”
Jessica’s resume can be found here.
